The night kicked off with Enzo and Cass in the middle of the ring talking about Chris Jericho. Jericho comes out and says that he has a new partner, Kevin Owens. The two sides exchange words and Cass tells Kevin Owens to fight him. Owens backs down and says that Jericho will. Jericho instead challenges Enzo to a match.


Enzo Amore vs. Chris Jericho

Jericho has Enzo in a corner and chops him. He throws him across the ring but Enzo counters with a jumping DDT.

Jericho rolls out and Enzo leaps over the top rope and takes down Jericho. Enzo rolls Jericho back in the ring and as the ref was distracted, Kevin Owens pulls on Enzo’s foot. Before the ref can catch him, he lets go and Enzo is hit with a Codebreaker. Big Cass goes in the ring and big boots Jericho. Big Cass challenges Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho to a tag team match at Summerslam which they accept.

Winner: Chris Jericho by disqualification

Match rating: 5/10


Braun Strowman vs. A local competitor

A very scared Jorel Nelson walks into the ring. As the ref rings the bell, he attempts to escape but is bulldozed by Strowman. He is thrown back into the ring and taken down with a gigantic clothesline. Strowman picks him up and hits the reverse chokeslam to win the match.

Winner: Braun Strowman by pinfall (reverse chokeslam)

Match rating: 2/10


Darren Young vs. Titus O’Neil

O’Neil and Young face off and Titus shoves Darren. Darren replies with a slap but is taken down with a knee to the head. He rolls out of the ring but is picked up and slammed, spine-first, into the apron.

Inside the ring, Titus hits a big clothesline and taunts Bob Backlund. He gives Darren a big beatdown and is slapped. Young stuns Titus with a big right hand and goes for a crossbody. He is caught and as Titus lifted him onto his shoulder, Darren sweeps down and rolls Titus up (tights) to pick up the win.

Winner: Darren Young by pinfall (rollup)

Match rating: 4/10


Seth Rollins starts a rant about Finn Balor. He says that Balor is impressive but Rollins is way better. Rollins calls Balor disrespectful and arrogant. He claims that he will become the first Universal Champion after he beats Balor.
